Sus personajes son increíblemente originales, cada uno me ha despertado un sensación. Son
divertidos, coloridos, imaginativos, están realizados con una simpleza extraordinaria que denota un proceso previo conceptual, y eso me parece admirable!
Influenciado por Uyiko-e (el género japonés que presenta pinturas sobre bloques de madera con diseños de paisajes cuentos de la historia y teatro) Simon nos maravilla por su excelente manejo vectorial.

Today, im glad to share the artwork of this fantastic british designer and illustrator who dazzles now from Japan.
His characters are incredibly originals, each one makes me feel a different sensation. They are funny, colorful, imaginatives, and they are made with such a simplicity denoting a previous conceptual process, that s admirable!
Influenced by Uyiko-e, "pictures of the floating world", a genre of japanese woodblock prints featuring landscapes, tales from history and theatre, Simon amazes us because of his excelent vectorial handling.

*IF THERE WAS AN IDEAL IDOKUNGFOO WORLD, HOW WOULD IT LOOK LIKE?
It would be a world covered in fake fur so no-one would get grazed knees ever again falling on concrete. There would be large shiny animated statues of characters everywhere which everyone could climb on, through and over.
Large shopping malls would be leveled to make way for traditional high streets with shops and businesses specializing in one of a kind quality hand made characters and designer goods. And everyone would drink 'Coca-Cola' upside down... ;-)
